Halloween 2026 Watch Party Guide: Peacock’s Crystal Lake, a Carrie Casino Bash, and a Farkle Intermission

If you’re planning a Halloween 2026 streaming watch party around new zodiac-horror releases and casino-resort screenings, the mid-October picture is clearer for horror premieres than for dedicated zodiac fare. The October streaming guides confirm a Friday the 13th prequel series and a camp horror film, plus a casino Halloween bash with a Carrie theme, but no new film marketed explicitly as zodiac horror has surfaced in the guides surveyed. Here’s what is confirmed as of October 12, 2026, and where the gaps remain.

What the streaming guides confirm

Forbes’ October 11 streaming guide points to several dates worth marking. Crystal Lake, the Friday the 13th prequel series, arrives on Peacock on October 15. Disney’s VisionQuest premieres October 14, and BritBox adds the second season of Ludwig on October 13. A fourth season of Blue Lights is due on BritBox next month, and the first trailer for Bloodaxe, a Norse epic from Vikings creator Michael Hirst, has dropped.

On the film side, IndieWire’s best-movies-new-to-streaming list for October 2026 includes Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma on Mubi. The title suggests a camp slasher throwback, though the guide does not provide an age rating or detailed content warnings in the entries listed. None of these releases is described as zodiac-themed; a new film sold specifically as zodiac horror is not visible in the October entries, so platform schedules are the place to watch for late additions.

The zodiac context for your movie night

Ebony’s Amber Little frames Libra season as a reality check for every zodiac sign, which can be a useful lens if you want to pick a film by sign. A separate Astro-Numerology forecast uploaded October 1 describes October as carrying Master Number 11 energy and notes Mercury retrograde beginning October 24, advising viewers to protect their peace and listen to inner guidance. That gives you two different lenses: a pragmatic reality check and an intuition-led forecast.

Neither of those sources pairs zodiac signs with specific Halloween film titles. If you want a sign-by-sign reading before you settle on the double feature, free zodiac horoscopes cover daily, weekly, monthly and yearly readings for all twelve signs.

A casino Halloween bash with a Carrie tie-in

Live! Casino Pittsburgh returns with its fifth annual Monster Bash on Friday, October 30, 2026 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. at Sports & Social Steel City and PBR Pittsburgh. The event is 21 and older, with tickets at $20 cash at the door or available as early-bird tickets on AXS. The costume contest starts at 11 p.m. and carries a $2,000 cash grand prize.

This year’s theme splits between two rooms: a Haunted Prom in Sports & Social marking the 50th anniversary of Carrie, and a Grave Rave in PBR. From 9 p.m. to midnight, That Magic Lady offers tarot card readings, and Sycamore Lee Jewelry handles permanent jewelry from 9 to 11 p.m. Live music from Shallow 9 begins at 9 p.m. in Sports & Social. The page notes that guests entering the gaming floor may be asked to remove anything that could hide their identity.

This is a party rather than a film screening, but the Carrie anniversary theme makes it a workable pre-Halloween outing for horror fans. Building the at-home double feature and intermission

For an at-home double feature on or after October 15, you can pair Crystal Lake on Peacock with Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma on Mubi if the latter is still available in your region. The two titles offer different horror textures: a legacy franchise prequel and a camp-set original. If age ratings or content warnings matter for your group, check the details on each platform before you press play, because the guides reviewed do not list ratings for these titles.

Between the two films, a short Farkle break can keep the party moving. A free printable Farkle score sheet is set up for four players and twenty rounds, with space for banked turn points and running totals; you can download it as a US Letter or A4 PDF without signing up.

Before you press play

Check the streaming app on the day for last-minute platform changes, especially for the Peacock and Mubi titles, since October horror slates can shift. For the Monster Bash, early-bird tickets on AXS are the safer route, and remember the identity rule if you plan to step onto the gaming floor. When the credits roll on the first film, a printed score sheet and a pair of dice are all you need to reset before the next scare.
